2024 Season's Greetings
As I turn the page on the calendar to February, I thought I might share my many calendars with you! Since getting into K-pop, I discovered the joy of Season’s Greetings! Season’s Greetings are calendar packages put together by K-pop groups so their fans can enjoy pictures of their favorites all year long. My first Season’s Greetings was back in 2020 when my husband bought me the BTS Season’s Greetings that year. It included a wall calendar which hung in our kitchen!
Since then, I have bought at least one season’s greetings package each year, often many more, as you will see! Each year the groups choose a new theme and style for their calendars. It is always fun to see what concept they will choose.
This year I purchased Season’s Greetings for Monsta X (of course!), P1Harmony, Enhypen, and Seventeen (just arrived!). I also have a new year with Wonho, who put two years in last year’s package since he is currently in the military.
Below is a brief description of each group. Photos of how my set-up will be at the end.
Monsta X
For the past couple years Monsta X has put out two versions of their Season’s Greetings, called Day after Day. The Everyday set included a set of two planners, divided into 6-month sections, stickers, photocards, polaroids, and a small acrylic desktop calendar. I am using the planner from this set as my print calendar. I am still old-school enough as to want to write things down, even though I use my Outlook calendar as well. The second set, Special Day version included a desk calendar, spiral bound planner, photobook, photocards, cake picks, an ID photo holder key chain, and a cake shaped message wheel. The desk calendar is at home since there is only so much room on my desk!
The Everyday version has a sporty, rocker vibe to the styling. The photos show the members doing everyday types of activities like listening to music, painting, playing sports).
The Special Day version has a softer concept with the members wearing soft colors and holding flowers or baked goods.
P1Harmony
The P1Harmony Season’s Greeting is called Code Name P1H. The concept is undercover agents. It contains two different styles of photos. The first is the members as secret agents and the second as office workers (presumably their cover). This set included a desk calendar, planner, photobook, photocards, ID cards, a folded wall calendar poster, and an ID card key chain (customizable with the member of your choice - I put Intak in mine).
Enhypen
This year Enhypen’s Season’s Greetings is called Dear Engene. Engene is the group’s Fandom name. The package contained a digital code for access to behind-the-scenes content, a heart paper charm, and a random member photo paper charm, a desk calendar, scheduler, photobook, frame and photo pack, a letter and envelope set, photocard set, stickers, a bookmark, and a folded poster. The members are dressed in black and white and are featured in various photos themed around writing to Engene. The theme is very soft compared to their album comeback concepts which are generally vampire themed!
Wonho
As I said earlier, Wonho created a two-year set of calendars for his Season’s Greeting. I saved the 2024 set to open once this year arrived, so I would be able to enjoy it as if it just arrived! This year everything has a brown color to it, last year was green. This year’s theme is Vacation in 2024. The set contained desk a calendar, folding calendar poster, PVC diary with refill pages, sticker set, post card set, calendar photocard set, ID photocard set, and message card for each year. As the title suggests, the photos are of Wonho in various vacation looks.
Seventeen
The Seventeen Season’s Greeting package just arrived yesterday. They made two versions this year, a desk calendar set and a wall calendar. The theme is About Time and features Morning, Afternoon, and Evening themes. The set contained a desk calendar, scheduler, photobook, digital code set, a postcard set, stickers, a message card, a timecard set (with the members favorite time of day), a photocard set, and a bookmark. The wall calendar was larger than I expected and really nice quality. I hung it immediately! The desk calendar came to work with me.
Now that you have seen what comes in a Season’s Greetings set, here is my setup.
My last comments on the Season’s Greeting sets are how much I enjoy looking at all the photos and deciding which planner I will use for the new year. I have used spiral bound in the past, but find that they snag in my bag, so I tend to gravitate towards the hardbound versions. I add the stickers to mark birthdays or anniversaries (debut and fandom).
